How to Read Tarot Without Predicting the Future
You still have freewill.
Like you, I am always tempted to ask for signs and messages from divine sources that good things are coming my way. I go to my tarot deck looking for answers, and often want to know what’s in my future. In the present moment — which is all we ever really know — the future is always uncertain. We feel a yearning to know the future so we can feel more secure in life.
But, I have news, friends — I just don’t think we’re meant to really know the future. We have freewill and so much of our lives is up to the decisions and movements of the millions of people on this planet who are interconnected with us.
Your own freewill allows you to make radically different choices at any point in your life, resetting your trajectory.
The tarot cards can tell us current trends. They can read the script of life to an extent, and give us a reading of energies in our vicinity. They can tell us a lot about the past and what we need to take action on right now.
What can’t they do? They cannot accurately predict the future. No one can.
