I feel like my answer to ‘what’s the real challenge’ will inevitably be: ‘I’m trying to hold a full time engineering job and not break anything while delivering on time, simultaneously being a single mom to a needy five year old during a pandemic.’ And I don’t know if we can expect the average white, male, childless boss to adequately empathize with that. What do you think?
