If it weren’t real, it wouldn’t be a challenge.

Love isn’t easy for a reason: it is the greatest treasure of all. It’s what we all desire most. Approaching it as complex human beings, love has many barriers. We all have baggage and wounds that we carry with us, and often, the prospect of true love rips open these wounds. This causes us to struggle with accepting or giving love. Real love means the possibility of real pain or confusion.

People don’t realize how difficult true love can be. It’s not like a fairytale. There are dragons to slay and villains to overcome, yes, but in real life, those all exist within you. You must slay the demons in your shadow and heal the pain in your heart in order for the walls to come down and love to flourish.

The Soul’s Quest for Love

Love is the reason we’re all here. The universe is on a quest to seek and learn about love through the complex relationships of humanity. Only through human incarnation can the oneness of consciousness understand itself. Love seems so simple in its purest form, and yet, when manifested on Earth through human expression, it is often so complex.

Love is pure. Humans are messy. That’s the paradox of the search for love.
