Your Life Is a Really Bad Movie

You’re the role-player, not the role, but who cares?

You aren’t what you think you are most of the time. Are you really you? Am I really me? What is a “you” and a “me”? This is how I see it: we’re in a movie and it’s gone straight to video cassette because the plot makes zero sense. No one’s gonna want to watch it.

We’re characters following a script unconsciously. Doesn’t that suck? It would be great if this script was like an action movie and the “good guys” are sure to win, but unfortunately, reality shows us that there’s no clear difference between good and bad. There are no clear heroes or villains. We all have aspects of every character archetype within each of us, no matter how hard we try to deny it.

The script must be followed, we have no idea what’s in store for our characters, and instead of it being sorta fun to watch like a movie in theaters, it’s terrifying. It’s like riding a rollercoaster in a dark tunnel except you don’t ever remember being anywhere but on the rollercoaster.

The Puppet Show

Haven’t you ever noticed that puppets are so over-the-top and ridiculous, but they usually aren’t aware that they’re a puppet, even when they’re standing next to a human? Indulge me in this
